This film documents ‘Rural People: Resilient Futures’, a community development project which aims to understand vulnerability across the Southern Grampians Shire, and how this will evolve under the impacts of climate change. The project partners include Southern Grampians Glenelg Primary Care Partnership, RMIT University, Southern Grampians Shire Council and the State Government Department of Environment and Priimary Industries. The film includes footage of the Plan, Prepare, Lead Workshops held in September 2014 in Hamilton & Balmoral, as well as interviews with project team members and key stakeholders. It also highlights the important role health and community service agencies play in building community resilience.
