Global Land Repair

In 2011 I was hired to document a permaculture installation on a private farm property in Gippsland for ACT-based tree planting business, Global Land Repair. The purpose of the video was to showcase the regeneration work completed on a 100 acre paddock in Rosedale. Footage was taken both on the ground and in the air from a light plane, illustrating the swale building and tree planting work completed on the property. Nick Huggins, Permaculture Design Consultant and manager of the project, tells us in a series of interviews about the value of swale building and tree planting and how it will contribute to a healthier, more fertile and sustainable landscape. The video is an invaluable promotional & educational tool for GLR to use to spread the word about how we can improve the state of this planet.
