This is one of my all time favourite spots along the Surf Coast…a beautiful view of the forest of the Otways spilling down into the ocean…Mother Nature at her best. S:)

I visited Dereel last Saturday and took this photo in a spot right where the fire had swept through on March 27th. I had never seen a post-fire site before and it was a powerful and eerie experience. I send all my very best wishes to everyone in the Dereel community and surrounds as they recover from this traumatic event.
